KVS Interior Design Formalizes Commitment to Local Artists With Formation of The Sultan Gallery - March 14, 2011

After hosting nearly 200 visitors at a 2011 Season Art Exhibit opening reception, KVS Interior Design Founder and Owner Kelli Sultan, ASID, NCIDQ announced the firm has formalized its commitment to showcasing local artists with the formation of The Sultan Gallery at KVS Interior Design.  The beautifully appointed, open Gallery space is located immediately adjacent to KVS’ prestigious Design Center and Showroom at 3820 Via Del Rey in Bonita Springs.  The Sultan Gallery will operate as a subsidiary of KVS Interior Design.  Gallery hours will be 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday except when the space is being used for special events and on holidays.  The Gallery will also open on weekends by appointment.  Admission to the Gallery is free.

Southwest Florida artists currently showing at The Sultan Gallery include Jon Montoya of Fort Myers, Kevin Caffrey of Naples, Peter Reuling of Sanibel, Carol Weber of Quail West in Naples and Jacqueline Mack of Punta Gorda.

“The Sultan Gallery at KVS Interior Design is committed to showcasing the work of our area’s leading artists, including painters, photographers, sculptors and creators of pottery and distinctive craft items,” said Sultan.  “National and international artists will be exhibited on an occasional basis.  Artists’ submissions will be subject to a rigorous review and selection process.  Only the ‘Best of the Best’ will be exhibited.  Jon Montoya, Kevin Caffrey, Peter Reuling, Carol Weber and Jacqueline Mack are exceptionally talented artists.  They each have a distinctive style and a highly discerning eye.  We are very excited and fortunate to be hosting an exhibit of this caliber and magnitude as The Sultan Gallery’s first exhibit.  This is an exhibit people will want to experience and enjoy.”

The length of each of the Sultan Gallery’s exhibits will vary depending on the artists involved.  Artists seeking consideration for placement in future exhibits are asked to abide by the Gallery’s submission process.  Submission details and an Artist’s Agreement may be obtained by contacting KVS via e-mail only at linda@kvsinteriordesign.com.  KVS is in the process of adding a Sultan Gallery page to its website that will include downloadable submission guidelines and forms.

“To keep abreast of the exhibits that will be held at the Sultan Gallery, we encourage people to add their names to the monthly KVS e-newsletter distribution list,” said Sultan, “To do that, simply e-mail linda@kvsinteriordesign.com and put ‘add my name to the e-newsletter list’ in the subject line.”
